Affiliate disclosure
Affiliate disclosure
Where Freshie Veggie has an affiliate relationship, we say so. Where we don't, we say that too.
What this means
Some links on Freshie Veggie are affiliate links, meaning that if you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are marked in two ways: (1) the HTML rel="sponsored noopener nofollow" attribute, which is the FTC-compliant technical signal; (2) explicit disclosure text on the page or near the link.
Programs we participate in
- Amazon Associates — store ID
veryation-20. Some equipment recommendations link to Amazon. - Commission Junction (CJ) — for select specialty producers with affiliate programs.
- Impact — for select specialty producer and equipment programs.
What this does NOT mean
An affiliate relationship does not change the editorial position. Producers are included in the directory based on specialty quality, not on whether they have an affiliate program. Many of the most editorially significant producers listed (Tim Wendelboe, La Cabra, Onyx, etc.) do not have affiliate programs at all and we list them anyway.
We will not write a misleadingly favorable description of a producer because they offer affiliate commissions, and we will not omit a critical editorial assessment because of an affiliate relationship.
Editorial independence
No producer, equipment maker, or other entity has editorial input into what appears on Freshie Veggie. All editorial content is researched and written independently. Corrections to factual errors are always welcome; requests to remove unfavorable opinions are not honored.
